Sappho - Felted Shearling Rug

Sappho is a Gotland X Shetland shearling ewe. A beautiful dark brown and cream fleece, with extra long staple and exceptional defined crimp. Sappho is a shearling so this is her first shear, as a result her fleece is the softest and longest it will ever be. Sappho has a lovely drape and could be beautiful on a chair or as luxurious rug for a light traffic area. Weight: 880g Size 100cm x 65cm

Autumnal Quilt

Unique, heirloom quilts. Handmade, hand dyed and botanically printed using plants gathered from my Grandmother's garden.


The quilts are made from re-purposed 100% wool blankets and 100% cotton sheets (re-purposed). The squares are dyed in small batches using native, hand foraged and sustainably sourced dyes stitched together with un-dyed organic cotton, each colour palette is carefully chosen to reflect nature and create a harmonious connection between textile and land.

‍ Ifan is a Shetland x Gotland shearling ram from The Outside Flock. These sheep are a certified organic, conservation grazing flock based in Oxfordshire- please see our about page for more information on the flock.

‍Ifan is a gorgeous shearling rug, with a creamy base and unique chocolate markings. Made from his first shear, this rug is wonderfully soft, with a beautiful drape for a chair.

Measures: 105cm x 83cm

Shearling rugs are made from the first shear, so they are beautifully soft and well suited to low traffic areas and back of chairs.

The front of this rug is sheep fleece from The Outside flock. The felted backing is made using 100% British Shetland wool.

Sabrina - Felted Seat Pad

Sabrina is a Shetland x Boreray ewe from The Outside Flock. These sheep are a certified organic, conservation grazing flock based in Oxfordshire- please see our about page for more information on the flock.

Sabrina is a cream seat pad with long locks. Sabrina is soft but hard wearing, perfect for a favourite seat.

A one to one session in my home studio in Hampshire to learn the art of making a felted sheepskin rug. You will leave with a rug you have created on the day.

Felted Seat Pad Workshops 2026
£120.00

Create your own handcrafted seat pad using raw sheep fleece from the organic flock at Hardwick Estate. Meet the flock (Oxfordshire dates only) and learn wet felting methods to transform your sheep fleece into a beautiful, functional seat pad to take home with you.

Please be aware that during this workshop we work with raw fleece, this is from an organic, small, conservation grazed, fully outdoor flock, but it is generally not advised that women who are pregnant work with raw fleece. If you would like to discuss this further please contact me.
